Causecast/SMARTY Event
May 2010: Venice, CA
Amy wanted to kick off this SMARTY event with something special, video introductions of all the panelists. It was epic.
"My job and my business are about community, so what was important for me to achieve was a sense of people knowing who is behind the community. I think people want to get a sense of who is at the top of any food chain in business, and what Tasha was able to do was give my Members and future Members a look at who I am and why I created this forum. Knowing me as a person, not just a figure head or person on stage, gives them a relationship to me that I wouldn't have otherwise. This builds trust - and trust builds loyal customers and sustainable businesses. When you think about the cost of a MyStory and the cost of NOT doing one, it makes you pause. The cost of my customers not knowing who I am is not one I'm willing to pay. It's the backbone of my brand."
